Grace Communion International
Greg Williams
I am President of Grace Communion International. I serve churches scattered across 69 countries and I deeply appreciate the international mix of our church family. Susan and I have been married for 39 years. Our three sons are married, and we have four grandchildren who bring us amazing joy.

What is the ministry challenge keeping you up at night?

I believe the Lord gives his beloved sleep, and I have experienced this goodness. What concerns me most is will there be a new generation of Christian men and women who will surrender to the relentless pursuit of the Father; accept the unconditional, sacrificial love of the Son; and walk in the power of the Spirit to live transformed lives giving testimony to the Gospel?

What is the greatest hope for God’s work in 2023 you’re dreaming about?

I have seen several examples of professional men and women who have heard the call to ministry in mid-life. These are dedicated folks who have helped hold a local congregation together through the commitment of their time, talent and financial support. Many have entered seminary and are growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus. They are unsung heroes!

What is a non-ministry activity that brings you joy and energy?

I enjoy golf. I am an average golfer who once in a great while hits an amazing shot. I enjoy being me against the course. When I get grouped with other golfers I don't know, well then it crosses back over to relational ministry.

What are the top 1-3 essentials for the Church in America to address to reach those who are spiritually open, but not yet following Jesus?

Who is the God revealed in Jesus? What is his nature? Who am I in relationship to Jesus? Please invite others to examine who they think God is and be willing to share how you know and experience Jesus. Let's be actively good neighbors who are known for our love and not judgement.
