What is the ministry challenge keeping you up at night?

The research is clear. Interest in Jesus is steady to rising at a time when interest, attendance, and membership in churches continue in a rapidly accelerating downward spiral.

What is the greatest hope for God’s work in 2023 you’re dreaming about?

I'm dreaming about 2024. I'm dreaming that in what will undoubtedly be the most polarizing year in culture of our lifetimes, the story of Jesus will inspire American to love their neighbors.

What is a non-ministry activity that brings you joy and energy?

Watching my children experience new things.

What are the top 1-3 essentials for the Church in America to address to reach those who are spiritually open, but not yet following Jesus?

1.) Repent of our political punditry and sycophancy 2.) Quit pretending like our version of a Biblical worldview is anything more than a modern negotiation with the text that serves our own traditions and interest. 3.) Liquidate all of our assets in order invest everything in operationalizing the Beatitudes and Matthew 25:31-40.
