Geof Morin
Geof Morin joined the Biblica team in August 2018 as President and CEO following an extensive career of exploring new avenues to reach people with the message of the Bible.Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Ministry Mobilization at American Bible Society. In this role, Geof led the organization’s global ministry strategies, including translation, trauma healing, and domestic Bible advocacy initiatives. He began his career with the global advertising firm Saatchi & Saatchi before turning his attention to ministry, through the completion of a Yale University master’s degree, and launching and directing two nonprofits for at-risk youth. Morin later served as the director of marketing at Geneva Global, a leading philanthropic research and consulting firm.

What is the ministry challenge keeping you up at night?

Not paying attention to the once-in-history momentum of global Bible Translation to close the gap for Bible-less people across the globe.

What is the greatest hope for God’s work in 2023 you’re dreaming about?

Closing the Gap above.

What is a non-ministry activity that brings you joy and energy?

Getting time with my beautiful teen age daughters before they fly the coop.

What are the top 1-3 essentials for the Church in America to address to reach those who are spiritually open, but not yet following Jesus?

1) Authentic and unexpected compassion always speaks louder than preaching.2) Need to be honest about the liabilities within the institutions of our American Church.3) With the Bible remaining bedrock and widely maligned, we need new points of access to open God's Word to new generations.
