Lymar Solá
Lymar serves as the National Program Director of Caminando Juntos, an initiative of Urban Strategies to improve the holistic wellbeing and interconnection among Latino Pastors in USA. She has led and advised teams from countries throughout Latin America and USA, implementing organizational development processes to facilitate holistic communities. For 20 years she has worked with faith-based organizations, creating sustainable systems, starting nonprofits and schools, establishing partnerships with faith- and community-based organizations, and coaching and mentoring community and ministry leaders in more than 20 countries. Lymar studied Industrial Engineering at University of Puerto Rico, Recinto de Mayagüez, and has completed a Master’s in Business Administration.

What is the ministry challenge keeping you up at night?

The holistic wellbeing of pastors and communities of faith. (But I have learned to sleep well!)

Interconnectivity of the body of Christ

Walking, Gardening, Cooking, Hiking, Nature visits, Traveling, Great conversations

What are the top 1-3 essentials for the Church in America to address to reach those who are spiritually open, but not yet following Jesus?

1) Accept its own vulnerability. 2) Grow in the process of being a safe space. 3) Preach, live, work and invest by example in the most vulnerable communities, understanding that God is already living among them. (Matthew 5)
