Prior to Barna I spent half a decade at a Fortune 500 organization focusing on building tools and solutions for pastors. I currently live in Atlanta Georgia with my wife and our 4 month old son.
What is the ministry challenge keeping you up at night?
The concept of technical versus adaptive challenges. I think there's a higher percentage of challenges facing the church that would actually classify as adaptive challenges but we view them or treat them as technical.
What is the greatest hope for God’s work in 2023 you’re dreaming about?
I hope for cross generational connection because I believe it's one of the biggest opportunities we have in society today.
What is a non-ministry activity that brings you joy and energy?
Fly fishing
What are the top 1-3 essentials for the Church in America to address to reach those who are spiritually open, but not yet following Jesus?
Posture of listening. Extravagant patience. The ability to meet people outside of the 4 walls of church.
