Peter has spent the past 15 years in the business world, with the last decade in commercial and specialty lending. In recent years, Peter has launched Kinsmen Journal, a voice that aims to redeem the narrative for men, centered on Faith, Fatherhood and Work. Peter and has family live in Southwest Missouri.

What is the ministry challenge keeping you up at night?

How do we collectively engage and galvanize men for kingdom influence? The traditional offering for "men's ministry" has become somewhat stale, resulting in men who've become increasingly disconnected from the church. As leaders and followers of Jesus, we must be more innovative and intentional in the way we're leading these conversations.

What is the greatest hope for God’s work in 2023 you’re dreaming about?

An awe and wonder at the transformative power of the Gospel. People are searching for hope, as followers of Jesus, we carry this with us everywhere we go. This should be at the forefront of all we do.

What is a non-ministry activity that brings you joy and energy?

Walking / Hiking in nature, and spending time with my family anywhere

What are the top 1-3 essentials for the Church in America to address to reach those who are spiritually open, but not yet following Jesus?

1. We must be unified and not divided as a church, our witness is tainted when we're distracted by what divides us. Where can we find common ground? Can this be the primary emphasis of our community? 2. Influence, publishing contracts and platforms have changed the pastoral landscape in America, the need for pastoral shepherds and leadership accountability has never been more important than it is now 3. The pursuit of holiness, consecration, and spiritual formation as followers of Jesus should be at the forefront of the church
