Robby has been married to Emily for 18 years and they have 8 kids. They live in Dawsonville GA where Robby serves as the president of Trueface. Trueface is a 28 year old non-profit that develops grace-based relational discipleship resources to help people experience deeper relationships with God and others. Trueface is partnering with RightNow Media and other platforms to help improve the quality of discipleship efforts in the local church. Prior to working at Trueface he was the Director of Adult Ministries at North Point Community Church, worked as a professional counselor, and served in Pakistan and Myanmar with Samaritan's Purse doing disaster response work.
What is the ministry challenge keeping you up at night?
How to help churches create adult ministry environments (small group, cell group, life group, etc) that are leading to spiritual growth/discipleship as a norm and not as an exception.
What is the greatest hope for God’s work in 2023 you’re dreaming about?
Partnering with RightNow Media to develop a tool to move the needle in small group effectiveness, resulting in more effective discipleship cultures in local churches.
What is a non-ministry activity that brings you joy and energy?
Fly-fishing
What are the top 1-3 essentials for the Church in America to address to reach those who are spiritually open, but not yet following Jesus?
Create environments for them to be known and loved.
Become boldly missional so that our deeds and what we are for speaks louder.
Re-claim a message more detached from either political party.
