What is the ministry challenge keeping you up at night?

A ministry challenge that keeps me up at night is navigating the gender conversation/LGBTQ+ community within the church. This is something that I often worry about, and worry about navigating within my own church and women in my college ministry group.

What is the greatest hope for God’s work in 2023 you’re dreaming about?

The greatest hope I have for God's work in 2023 is making the authentic Jesus known to as many people as possible. I get so discouraged when I hear people talking about how "crazy our world is" or "that we live in a Godless country" when we see so many come to Jesus through ministries such as He Gets Us, Come and See, The Chosen, and so many more. I dream about the most unlikely people coming to Jesus because he truly is just "that good."

What is a non-ministry activity that brings you joy and energy?

I live right near Wrightsville Beach on the coast of North Carolina, so I love going to the beach for walks or runs with my husband and pup, Hilton! We additionally love to travel to new places throughout America, especially national parks! This past summer, we went to Zion National Park and loved getting to experience God's beauty in such a unique way! Also, I have a past history of musical theatre, and teach a children's musical theatre class at my local community theatre during the week. All of these bring me joy and energy!
