Sean Kouplen
Sean Kouplen is the Chairman & CEO of Regent Bank, Oklahoma’s immediate Past Secretary of Commerce & Workforce Development, a best-selling author and an active small business investor. In 2008, Kouplen led an investor group that purchased 110-year old Regent Bank in Nowata, OK. Since that time, the bank has expanded to Tulsa, OKC, Springfield, MO, Bartlesville, Edmond and coming soon to Broken Arrow. The bank has grown from $72 million to over $1.3 billion in assets- making it one of America’s fastest-growing banks. Regent Bank has won many awards including Inc Magazine’s Best Places to Work and the Central United States Community Bank of the Year. In his volunteer role as Secretary of Commerce and Workforce Development, Kouplen oversaw 36 state agencies who lead the economic development, community development and workforce development efforts for the state of Oklahoma. Kouplen holds numerous local and statewide leadership positions, including Chairman of the Oklahoma Manufacturing Alliance, Oklahoma Business Roundtable, Tulsa Community College Foundation and an Elder and “Backup Preacher” of Southpoint Church in Bixby. Kouplen’s awards include Journal Record’s Most Admired CEO Award, his fraternity’s top national alumni award, Citizen of the Year in Bixby, OK and a black belt in Taekwondo. Kouplen has written four best-selling books, hosts a nationwide podcast called Kingdom Driven CEO, and leads a daily call-in devotional that has reached over 200,000 people. Kouplen recently launched a faith in work movement called 94X that is catching fire throughout the central United States. Sean has been married to Angela for 25 years and they have three children- Emory (19), Kennedy (16) and Finley (13).

What is the greatest hope for God’s work in 2023 you’re dreaming about?

Igniting the hearts of leaders around the world to bring their faith into the workplace. Giving Christian business owners, executives, and professionals the ability to bring the gospel into every industry, sector, and sphere of society

What is a non-ministry activity that brings you joy and energy?

Coaching Little League Baseball (my son)
