Susan ministers alongside Greg. She enjoys leading communion and pointing others to Jesus. She is quick to tell you that there are two important things - 1. Love God and 2. Love neighbor. She loves her family and being with them in any setting is just fine.
What is the ministry challenge keeping you up at night?
The busy, disinterest, consumerism of society as a whole. The idolatry of self-will and self-sufficiency.
What is the greatest hope for God’s work in 2023 you’re dreaming about?
The work of humanizing Jesus as a God of love, joy and hope. Praying that this better representation will open the minds to seeing him as divine and savior.
What is a non-ministry activity that brings you joy and energy?
Playing with grandkids.
What are the top 1-3 essentials for the Church in America to address to reach those who are spiritually open, but not yet following Jesus?
Sustained love for our neighbors (this means being fueled by the love of Jesus we have received).
Loving and respecting others while still holding strong to Christian values and living as Kingdom representatives.
